Bat Habitat Quiz

Bats need dark, quiet, protected places to sleep during the day, to avoid predators, raise their young and to hibernate during the winter.

Bats Are Losing Their Homes
In California and beyond, bat habitats are threatened. Caves are being carelessly explored and roosting bats are disturbed. Mines are being closed up. Hollow trees are being cut down. Bats are being excluded from their roosts in buildings.
