Day 3 Return to Main Page

Here Gwen works on the website with museum instructors Christopher and Dorris. We learned how to take and edit digital images for posting on the web. This website shows our results.
Noelle and Niche were a part of the scientific illustration media workshop. Here they are behind the scenes at the museum drawing a snowshoe hare and a bat. Other campers learned how to make and edit sound recordings, take digital photos and build a website.
This afternoon we spent practicing climbing at a local climbing wall to prepare us for the big drop the next day into Moaning Cavern. This was the first time most of us had ever tried climbing and rappelling Here is Malik making his first ascent.
Gwen is making a big stretch. It takes coordination, stretching and strength to climb the wall, as well as some courage. The wall had many levels of difficulty and heights.
